Drive A Faster Car: Will Cuil Take Over The Internets?

  • Tessa · 1 year ago
It's not going to be able to take over the internet if it can't even keep it's servers up long enough to handle the traffic it's receiving.

So far - I'm not impressed.

I searched for a few things, then clicked on the results. 8 out of 10 pages it returned didn't actually have the word(s) i had searched for anywhere on the page. I don't really see how that's going to get the people at Google all up in an panic.

Well I tried Cuil out and it didn't work out for me either. They do really have a long way to go. Seems like they just started this search engine to get bought out by a major engine because behind the scenes they are doing something right we just don't know what yet..

I have to generally agree with the above. I'm all for new startups, especially if they have a new approach. I'll keep trying it out, but at the moment it just doesn't rival Google.
